i was all girl today-dress, heels, lipstick. (!!!!!!!!!)
i know, i know. it's probably as terrifying for you to read as it is for you to have your boyfriend present you with a rafflesia for valentine's day, WHICH some s12 ppl did discuss when we were at sher's 21st party last saturday. But i digress. Chinese New Year la, what to do. Must wear nice nice. The look on my parents' faces when they saw me was like, the kind you'd see in slow-mo in movies with the 'Hallelujah' music playing in the background. Man, i should've videotaped it down. Very exaggerated, i know. and i'm refering to their reactions, not my description. i only wear tshirt and pants/long shorts/three quarts everyday wat!!! i even have 2 skirts. when my erjie found out i bought pointy heels, she paused for a good few seconds and said in disbelief: " it's like a boy wearing a dress la. "
FAMILY IS SUPPOSED TO SHOW SUPPORT OKAY.
anyway. went visiting and all that today, finished the compulsory households in one day! Cool, but that's cos we only have 3, the rest are in the flooding indon. :( our tradition/ritual is to call/sms our relatives to wish them happy new year, instead of physical visiting that you guys probably have to go through. we were saying we might go back next year. see how la.
i shall now shamelessly advertise for me and Friz's show on Radio Fusion.
that size G(G for Ginormous) guy is friz, and the smaller one is yours truly.do catch us every wed 5-7pm on radio fusion 91.9FM if you're on campus and through the website http://radio.ntu.edu.sg as well! lots of high quality crap awaits you. :)
ok end of ad.
school's been crazy, lots of things to do, and when you're sleeping 5 hours everyday, it kinda takes its toll on you. and it's like, you cant do every aspect to the best of your ability, cos ur attention is split to so many different areas...it just sucks sometimes la, when you know you can do better.
like, not wearing t-shirt and long shorts and a cap and leaving the cap in the computer lab and realising much later and then thankfully having a huge beefcake asking around for people who have the access card to open the door cos everyone's gone back for chinese new year preparations. by the end of the day i was so grateful to my da rou bao i decided to buy him a huge lollipop to repay him for his kindness. i know, i'm so generous. lollipops rule k!
alright. i have to go sleep soon. happy cny everyone! :)
